WBT contains methods that are amazingly effective in classroom management and may definitely revolutionize your teaching perception.

As we (teachers) all know every single school has its famous classes that stay in our mind for ever and after. Why? They evoke so many emotions that we can barely stand. When emotions are involved the prosess of remembering facts is strenghtened. Soo... I will always remember my school rebels, I will remeber their faces, names and nicknames. Students who do not influence our nervous system are easily forgotten... yes, that's sad.
All in all, those rebels make our school life a little bit complicated. Class management, dyscypline and authority seem to vanish when they enter our classroom. What if we have not one, but 3 or 4 rebels, in one class? Oh, ho God save the teacher!
Luckily, after years of experimenting looking for new and inspiring methods I found Whole Brain Teaching.
It's inspiring and making me smile every time I enter my classroom. It gives you the power of controlling the Universe!

Whole Brain Teaching in other words Power Teaching gives us not only the theory but also useful practical tools to deal with our classroom. There are 6 basic "things" (I didn't find suitable word for method and tool in one) you may use during the lesson to gain control:
1. class-yes
2.classroom rules
3.teach-ok
4.switch
5.hands and eyes
6.mirror

All of them sound intriguing, I will describe them in my posts together with my classroom experiences.

Is that all? huh... not really. Chriss Biffle alias Coach B. posts
hundreds of freebies on http://wholebrainteaching.com where you may find answers to all your questions.
You may find useful games (a lot!) to practice core knowledge such as critical thinking, maths, arts and language. Of course they were created with an intenion to use in the USA but, believe it or not, you may fit it into your curriculum without any hurt.
